Job Summary
Our client, a leading company in the agro-chemical and public-health distribution sector, is seeking a reliable and experienced Professional Driver to support daily operations. The ideal candidate must be capable of driving vans and multiple vehicle types, including both manual and automatic transmission, while ensuring safety, professionalism, and efficiency at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Safely drive company vehicles (vans and other vehicle types) for staff movement, deliveries, and operational needs.
Operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
Maintain the cleanliness and proper functioning of assigned vehicles.
Conduct routine vehicle checks and report mechanical issues promptly.
Plan efficient routes to ensure timely arrival for pickups, drop-offs, and deliveries.
Comply with all road safety regulations and company driving policies.
Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and trip logs.
Assist in loading and unloading materials when required.
Handle company documents and items with confidentiality and care.
Qualifications
Minimum of SSCE.
Valid Nigerian driver’s license.
3–5 years proven driving experience (corporate or logistics sector preferred).
Ability to confidently drive vans and various vehicle types.
Proficient in both manual and automatic transmission.
Good knowledge of Abuja routes and traffic patterns.
Clean driving record and strong sense of responsibility.
