Position Title: Sales Manager — GIS & Survey Services
Location: Central Business District, Abuja
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, On-site
Salary: ₦200,000 Monthly

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales division handling GIS, surveying, drone mapping, remote sensing, and geospatial products & services. The role involves setting sales targets, driving revenue growth, building strong client relationships (public sector, real estate, construction, infrastructure, and agriculture), managing a sales team, and collaborating with technical teams to ensure client requirements are met with high quality and precision.

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategies for all service lines: GIS, drone surveys, remote sensing, mapping, and geospatial product sales.

Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets; track, analyze, and report on sales performance.

Prospect new markets and clients: government agencies, engineering / construction firms, real estate developers, environmental consultants, and other relevant segments.

Build, lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales reps / business development executives.

Develop relationships and negotiate contracts with clients; ensure proposals are technically and commercially viable.

Work closely with the technical / operations teams to understand service capabilities, turnaround times, and delivery constraints to offer feasible solutions to clients.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing and client feedback; adjust sales approach accordingly.

Collaborate with marketing to generate leads, promotional materials, and campaigns.

Oversee post-sales follow up, customer satisfaction, and ensure retention.

Maintain accurate CRM records, prepare forecasts, pipeline reports, and presentations for senior management.

Position Specification

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Geoinformatics, Surveying, Geography, or related field.

Additional training / certification in sales or business development is a plus.

Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience, ideally in GIS, surveying, geospatial technology, drone mapping, or remote sensing sector.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Experience managing or leading a sales team.

Knowledge & Skills:

Strong knowledge of geospatial services, survey methods, mapping, remote sensing, drone data, and relevant technologies.

Excellent negotiation, relationship building, and presentation skills.

Good understanding of contract management, pricing strategies, and cost considerations related to GIS / survey work.

Proficiency with CRM tools and sales analytics.

Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
