Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and driven Head of Sales to lead the sales strategy and execution for a renewable energy solutions company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving revenue targets, expanding market presence, building a high-performing sales team, and driving business growth within the solar and clean energy sector.
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and execute the overall sales strategy to drive company growth and profitability.
Set clear sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics for the sales team.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Sales Representatives and Business Development Executives.
Identify new business opportunities, client segments, and partnerships to expand market reach.
Oversee the entire sales cycle — from lead generation to closing and client retention.
Collaborate with marketing, technical, and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market trends.
Conduct competitor analysis and implement strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Ensure consistent brand representation and adherence to company values in all client interactions.
Drive customer satisfaction and maintain strong client relationships.
Position Specification
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc. / HND) in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
MBA or professional certification in sales or marketing is an added advantage.
Experience:
Minimum of 5–8 years’ experience in sales management or business development, preferably within the solar, renewable energy, or technical product industry.
Proven record of achieving sales targets and leading successful teams.
