Job Summary:
A reputable building construction company is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage project costs, prepare estimates, and ensure value for money throughout all stages of construction projects. The ideal candidate will be skilled in cost planning, contract administration, and tender documentation, with strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare bills of quantities, cost estimates, and tender documents.
Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for projects.
Monitor and control project expenditure to ensure budgets are maintained.
Evaluate contractor quotations and manage procurement processes.
Prepare progress reports, valuation of work done, and cost forecasts.
Advise on contractual claims and variations.
Liaise with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure cost efficiency.
Ensure compliance with construction and contract regulations.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or related discipline.
3–5 years of relevant experience in building or civil construction projects.
Proficiency in cost estimation and contract management software.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
